3 Jul 2009 - The West Yorkshire Police Neighbourhood Watch mascot is retiring and they are calling all you creative poeple out there to find a new mascot.

Sherlock, the West Yorkshire Police Neighbourhood Watch mascot is going into retirement after years of being out and about on the streets of West Yorkshire.

They need a new mascot, and so are appealing to all you creative people out there to help.

To enter: you should be under 21 years old draw a mascot who will help promote neighbourhood watch the new mascot MUST include the Neighbourhood Watch logo submit your entry on a piece of A4 paper and send it to: NHW Mascot Competition, Local Policing Department, West Yorkshire Police, PO Box 9, Laburnum Road, Wakefield, WF1 3QP closing date: 30th September 2009
