New report for tenants

Written by Emma Ruane

30 Sep 2010 - Do you want to know how Unity measures up? Or what we've got planned for this year? Our tenant-friendly annual report will answer your questions.

Unity's Annual Report to Tenants is a new kind of report.

  • Written for tenants
  • Co-written by a Unity resident
  • Checked by tenants
  • Approved by tenants

In it, you can find out:

  • How the service you get from Unity measures up to national standards,
  • What Unity's got planned for 2010/11,
  • How your rent compares to other landlords,
  • How you can ask for better, more tailored services.

It also explains how you can ask for a local standard - a better or extra service that suits you. And there's a resident involvement calendar on the back page.

Unity's regulators, the Tenant Services Authority, say that all housing associations have to produce an annual report to tenants by 1st October each year. This is our first one, so we'd love to hear any feedback.

If you have any questions about Unity's Annual Report to Tenants, please contact our Tenant Neighbourhood & Involvement Officer, Emma Ruane, on (0113) 200 7743 or emma.ruane@unityha.co.uk.
