WEDNESDAY 22 APRIL 09 - LEEDS

THURSDAY 23 APRIL 09 - LONDON

TAROE and TPAS are hosting two BME national events to seek views of tenants on housing services and understand the support needs for the establishment of a Tenant Services Authority BME Forum.

The TSA is the new independent regulator for homes owned by housing associations and co-ops. From spring 2010 they are likely to regulate homes provided by council and arm's length management organisations (ALMOs) too. Their job is to ensure that tenants receive excellent service from their landlords - and where they don't to take action to improve things.

The TSA has embarked on a national conversation with tenants to help them develop standards to ensure services that tenants want.

The more information they receive from tenants the better.

To book your place, contact Emma Ruane, Unity's resident involvement officer, on (0113) 200 7743 or emma.ruane@unityha.co.uk.

Happy family outside their home. If you are a tenant and have ideas to improve our website, we would love to hear from you.
